Google Nemesis - Is It Worth The Hype? by Garry Chaples

I don't have the answer to that question...

But here's what I do know:
* Less than a week after it's launch, there are roughly one and a half MILLION search results for the term "Google Nemesis Review."
* I can't find a real review for the Google Nemesis product.
* It costs $77 per month (only $67 per month if you'll try to leave the page.)

So, yes, I would like the answer to the question...

Is Google Nemesis the great work at home opportunity that so many people are saying it is? Or is it just a bunch of fluff?

Hey, I'm all for anybody trying to make a buck, I have absolutely no problem with that. I will also admit though, that I'm tired of spending (wasting) money on programs that aren't what they say they are.

It seems that, once or twice a year, an internet marketing product launches that every internet marketer in the world jumps on the bandwagon and promotes... obviously without actually buying the product. If they actually bought the product, an Average Joe could find an honest review for it. Google Nemesis seems to be that product for 2008. I'll be the first to admit, it is very tempting to do just that, especially in this case, since it pays very well for both the author and the affiliate, on a month-to-month basis.

I actually did find what seems to be, one honest short review for the Google Nemesis software. I saw in a forum post that apparently, when you create a web page using the Google Nemesis software, that the page is actually hosted on the Nemesis website. If that's true, then that's great news if you don't have a website, but not so good if you were hoping to host that page on your own website. For serious marketers, it's tough to be at the mercy of someone else's host.

That's the extent of what I've been able to find for a Google Nemesis review. That's pretty sad for search results of a million and a half.

If you read my previous article on Google building a silent affiliate network, you would be in for a surprise. It seems to be that my prediction of Google moving into affiliate networks was correct. Let me explain.

Google had bought over DoubleClick a while back. DoubleClick had an affiliate network called "Connect Commerce". Google today announced to its AdWords advertisers that they will be phasing out PPA by end of August and instead advertisers can now look to advertise on the Google Affiliate Network.

If you are new to affiliate marketing here is a quick synopsis:
1) Tim sells a product called BodySoft. Its an everyday cold cream.
2) Tim using various marketing methods such as PPC, SEO etc., but wants to sell more.
3) He is ready to pay upto 20 % of the sale value to anybody who can sell it for him.
4) Jill on the other hand, does not own a product, but she is good at marketing. She is looking to sell other people's products.
5) Jill can now sign up as an "affiliate" (classically, a "commission agent") for BodySoft with Tim and then sell his product.
6) Every time Jill sells a BodySoft bottle, Tim pays her 20%.
7) Both Tim and Jill win.
