Because I do not want to make a separate front from the general trend, I am going to reveal a few AdSense secrets that will “change your life!” The only difference is that I will not charge you for it.

So let’s start with the best kept “make money with AdSense” secret: there are no secrets! Everything you want to know about making money with AdSense is already waiting for you online, free of charge; Google provides a lot of the information with its AdSense tour and TOS.

Many webmasters and bloggers have included special AdSense “tips and tricks” on their pages to help beginners (and often quite experienced webmasters) make the best out of their websites. These webmasters will tell you what Google doesn’t tell you, and this is also the purpose of this article.

Let us first define “stuffed with Google ads” before continuing. If you have a page stuffed with Google ads you’ve probably noticed that your winnings are not so high reported to the number of clicks. Google recommends that you use all the three ad blocks allowed per page. But they do not tell you that less… is more.

You see, advertisers bid on how much they want to pay per click (these advertisers are AdWords users) and obviously the highest bids are served first. Now, if you are a web designer or you just like pretty things, you probably dislike ad blocks and go for image ads. Though banners are pretty, they don’t pay. Like it or not, text ads are generating far more revenue.

So, if by any chance, you were using Google banner ads to harmonize the AdSense ads with the design of your website, it’s time to rethink your strategy. Lastly, don’t expect to make spectacular AdSense wins if you have 30-40 unique visitors per day. Don’t even expect that when you have 100! Though, when you reach 1000… we speak another language. Google AdSense is one of the easiest ways that you can start making money online. I remember when I first started out I was not especially good at copywriting so I found it extremely difficult to make money from affiliate programs or selling my own products.

When AdSense was launched I added the code to my html on my sites and I was earning thousands of dollars on autopilot without building email lists or selling any products. Let's face it to sell products online requires skills which many newbie marketers do not have.

In this article I would like to go over the core strategies that you need to follow to build a six figure AdSense business.

1) Create large content sites

I accidentally discovered this formula. When I first started out I did not intentionally plan to create a large website. I built my website around my niche market and created a way for my users to upload their own content. To this very day the site keeps on growing and the traffic increases as users add more content. Let's face it to generate a lot of money from Google AdSense you need a big site with hundreds or thousands of pages that attract free search engine traffic. Many people don’t even think of the one obvious place to get advice, which is from Google themselves! They have plenty of free resources to help you make the most of Adsense, including the “heatmap” which will help you to place your ads in the most profitable position.

Adsense Keywords

Just type in “Free Adsense Keywords” to the search engines and you’ll find plenty of websites offering you free keywords as an incentive to sign up to their program. You won’t have to pay a bean and this’ll get you started on finding high paying keywords.

Also, as a keyword research tool, consider signing up for an Adwords account – type in your keywords, run the Traffic Analyzer and see how much you’d have to pay for them. Simply target the highest paying keywords in your own website, whilst remembering to pause or delete the Adwords campaign you just set up.

It has opened up a whole new level of interest - I am getting a buzz about something new and I like it! But I have to say their are times when I think "what on earth is going on here!" because like all areas of life you get the cons and the scams, avoid the scams though and their are people genuinely interested in providing quality info at a price. So I took the decision to part with my $9.95 and to become a disciple of Joel Comm and to learn the inner secrets of Google's Adsense. At this price you have nothing to lose!

So what do you get for your money? Well the first thing to remember is that this is Adsense Secrets 4, it is the latest updated release of a book that has been around a while, previous versions have been best sellers, earning a reputation as the Adsense 'Bible' so immediately the expectation is high. But the price isn't! Joel has pitched this ebook at only $9.95 so immediately you are on a win win situation.

Opening the ebook you realise that it is packed with information. 235 pages containing 25 chapters. Starting to read through confirms that this is a quality peace of work. The depth of information means that all your Adsense needs are covered, and it is unlikely you will need any other source of information. If this was a printed book it would be one of those that never leaves your desk, becoming grubby from constant use - a friend in time of need. I have picked random chapters and then searched the Internet to check out the information, I wasn't disappointed, all relevant and upto date.

So what information do you get? Well, 235 pages is a lot to fill and I think that the name infers that this is purely an Adsense How-to, it's not. What you get is a guide that leads you by the hand through setting up your website, choosing and configuring your blog and then covers every aspect of integrating Adsense into your site. The bonus is that Joel also covers other types of advertising so you have ample skills to make money from your website. But, if that was not enough once your site is up and running you are taken through Search Engine Optimisation, and methods to increase your sites traffic.

So to answer my question - scam or the genuine deal? Well, I have to say genuine deal. I liked it a lot and have worked my way through it, managing to implement Adsense on all off my sites. I have only two very minor criticisms. The first is the price is too low! Yes you heard me right - it could give someone new to this the idea that it's cheap and therefore nasty! Secondly, so much information means that in places certain topics are skimmed over too quickly, but this tends to be areas that are not important and can be followed up on the Internet.

Adsense Secrets 4 is an excellent ebook for the Internet marketing novice. It covers many areas that can be confusing, and daunting. Enjoy!

Adsense marketing can be very profitable if you know how. I
have been earning money from adsense marketing for many
years now. When I first got started I only had the skills
to earn a few dollars, but now I have the ability to earn
tens of thousands of dollars from adsense marketing.
Adsense marketing is probably the laziest way to earn money
on the internet. You do not need a list and basically once
your website is up and running you basically set and forget
it only to collect your checks at the end of the month.

I am going to go through some of the basic things I did to
some of my web sites that increased my income from a few

have it right at the bottom very few people will actually

same as the text on your website. This makes it look like
content. Also if you can use blue this helps to increase
the conversion rate as people are conditioned to clicking
on blue hyperlinks. Using a 336 by 228 will make your
adverts look like content and also increase your click
through rates.

One of the useful methods of increasing your Adsense
marketing income is to track all your clicks. You can do
this by creating Adsense channels and then you can see
where all your clicks are coming from. This is very useful
as you will be able to see your top performing pages and
your worst performing pages. This allows you to have a look
at your worst performing pages and improve them. Also you
would like to do keyword research and find long tail
keywords with very little competition that pay reasonably
well. This allows you to create additional pages of content
optimized for those specific keywords that will generate
more Adsense clicks and money. Now if you produce thousands
of these pages you could easily be earning thousands of
dollars from Google Adsense. This is a very tedious
process. Making money on the internet requires hard work
and discipline. There is no magic formula to do it and you
need to apply these techniques consistently on a daily
basis.

Once you have created your large content websites it is important that you get quality one way links. This will attract highly targeted free search engine traffic. Submit your sites to directories. Do a search for Adsense secrets and you will be bombarded by a myriad of ads by trying to sell you the answers to making lots of money with Adsense.

Before you buy anything, my advise to you would be to do some research on a search engine and a bit of common sense. There are literally hundreds of forums where you can pick up valuable information, as well as hundreds of articles that have been written on the subject of Adsense.

Most of the answers are out there for you to find it you will put in a little bit of work. If you buy any of the ebooks available out there, you might find one little nugget of information that you may not have seen anywhere else, but I promise you: most of the time everything is out here on the Internet - all you have to do is search for it. Here are some of the search terms that I personally have used with great results:

What I can tell you from my own experience is this:

1. Ads at the top of the page and on the left of the page perfom better than any other ads. (Take a look at the "heatmap" from the Google link below)

2. Ads without background colour and borders perfom better than ads within borders with background colour.

3. Ads within content pages perform better than any other ads.

4. A search box on every page gives you another chance for earning Adsense income.

5. A blue link at the top of the ad, the ad in black, and the url also in black so that it blends in with the ad copy - also tends to perform well. A black url makes the link stand out and gives you a better chance of someone clicking on it.

Experiment with your settings and see which brings you the best results. Google's reporting has become a lot better in the last month or so, so you should instantly be able to see which ads result in better CTR.

To increase your site traffic, which obviously will increase your Adsense income, the best way to get traffic is to have fresh content at your site. Write your own articles and submit it to article directories like Go Articles etc. To find more article directories, just do a search for "free article directory submissions" on a search engine like Google.

Another way would be to publish articles by other authors that are relevant to your site content. You can find free articles all over the web by once again doing a search for e.g. "free site content".

Do this on a regular basis and watch your traffic (and your income) increase.

Now here are some tips from a 9 year veteran search engine optimization specialist that will put your sites over the top! Let’s do this by the numbers…

#1 Find the best keywords

Google gets more searches than any other search engine so let’s peek into their database. Check out https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal and type in any keyword or phrase you can think of that you think your target audience is looking for.

Try to use specific keyword phrases whenever possible. If you have a web-page that deals with floral delivery, instead of “flowers”, which has 233,000,000 competing pages on Google, try “send flowers”, which has 1/10th the number of competing pages. Better yet, think like people speak (I.E./ I’m sending flowers to my mom.) As it turns out, a lot more people are searching for “sending flowers” than are searching “send flowers” and - here’s the best part - “sending flowers” has less than 1% of the competing web-pages as the search term we started with, “flowers”. Now that’s impressive! You have an advantage over about 99.5% of your competitors with just this tip.

#2 Write a killer title Google loves

Take your most important specific and general keyword phrases and put them together, specific first; general second. Let’s use “sending flowers” and “flowers”. Now split the keyword phrases by a pipe (the vertical key over the Enter/Return key). We now have “sending flowers | flowers”. Now go back and grab one or two more relevant keywords like “wedding flowers” and “Mothers Day” and combine them like this “sending flowers | flowers for weddings, Mothers Day and more”.

Now you’ve covered all your bases and build a fantastic keyword rich title that won’t look like keyword spamming. You can also change the Mothers Day to Valentines Day, Easter, as needed.

#3 Write a META description that gets you noticed

This is important. Not only can this tip alone get you ahead of most competitors, but it’s also what readers see of your site before they decide to visit. You should write for people, but using a method search engines like. Don’t worry. It’s a lot easier than it sounds.

Now take each of your keywords and line them up in order of importance. Since “sending flowers” gets more searches than any other, let’s start there and use the same logic for the rest. Now we have, in order, “sending flowers”, “flowers”, “wedding flowers”, and “Mothers Day.” Now improve your keyword prominence (relevance based on position) by using your best keyword in the beginning of the description: “Sending flowers has never been easier. Here you will find inside tips on the least expensive ways to send the freshest wedding flowers, Mothers Day arrangements or whatever else you need.”

We used all of our keywords without overloading the text and broke it up a little by adding some detail. It works great! Just try to keep the description at or under 250 characters (including spaces).

#4 Add great content

Without using any imagination at all, I found 172 articles in a few seconds…

#5 Use the best-pulling AdSense ad style and color combination

My click-through rate (CTR) tripled when I switched to this format.

Select ad size 336 x 280. If that’s too big, try 300 x 250. And try to make your ad border and ad background colors the same as your Website’s background color. It helps it blend in and take away some of the “advertisement” feel. It’s also usually best to go with the standard blue hyperlink color for the actual links.
